1. Insulated Smart Glass Insulating glass (IG), more commonly known as double glazing (or double-pane, and increasingly triple glazing/pane), consists of two or three glass window panes separated by a vacuum or gas filled space to reduce heat transfer across a part of the building envelope. Insulated Smart Glass, refer to below picture, smart film is pasted on one inner side of the glass, then compound into insulated smart glass. It featured with high sound insulation, heat insulation which is suitable for sun room, office, hotel, school, residence, hospital, large freezer, etc. Maximum size of insulated smart glass: 1500 x 3660mm (W x H) Regular thickness: 6+6A+6mm Other size or thickness please contact us. 2. Laminated Smart Glass: Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. Based on the concept of laminated glass, laminated smart glass has added smart film between EVA film during compound and laminating. (Please be noted, for best performance, only use EVA for laminating smart glass) Maximum size of insulated smart glass: 1800 x 3660mm (W x H) Regular thickness: 5+5mm, 6+6mm. Other size or thickness please contact us. |
